My work explores the endurance of love through life, death, and whatever might come after. Some pieces show skeletons with their souls still tethered to their bodies, while others depict bones left behind as their souls move on or reincarnate into various creatures. These works reflect my interest in life cycles and the ongoing nature of existence.
In this piece, one of the characters has his skull shot through. While the scene may seem violent, remember he is already dead, and it doesn’t hurt. The moment also invites the viewer to wonder what might be happening beyond the canvas.
